Ce blog est le fruit de la rencontre totalement fortuite entre Alice Vladi (arrière-arrière-petite-fille d’Anastasia !) et l’auteur de ces lignes ! Il est entièrement consacré à la Princesse Anastasia de Russie et apporte la preuve scientifique irréfutable de sa survie !

L’année 2024 marque le 106e anniversaire des événements dramatiques de 1918, qui ont officiellement entr’ainé la disparition de la famille de l’empereur Nicolas II dans la maison Ipatiev à Ekaterinbourg (Russie), et plus particulièrement d’Anastasia, la plus jeune fille du tsar et de la tsarine Alexandra Feodorovna,

Anastasia au long de toutes ces années est devenue un personnage de romans et de films sans oublier l’apparition de fausses Anastasia ! Sa renommée a conduit à de nombreuses hypothèses sur son destin :  en particulier la notice que lui consacre Wikipedia la présente comme décédée justement à Ekaterinbourg (1),

Alice, pendant longtemps, a cherché la possibilité de confirmer que son arrière-grand-mère, la Grande-Duchesse, Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanova n’était pas décédée en 1918. Après avoir demandé à un avocat des droits de l’homme de l’aider à trouver un spécialiste, pouvant l’aider dans sa quête c’est ainsi qu’elle a connu mon nom en tant que spécialiste reconnu en biométrique de similitude,  Alice, connaissant le  nom de Raoul Perrot, a parcouru internet et a rapidement trouvé le site du Laboratoire d’Anthropologie Anatomique de Lyon (France) lui permettant de prendre connaissance de certains de mes travaux : ceux relatifs à la comparaison de visages en utilisant une méthodologie développée à l’origine pour l’identification des personnes ayant commis des vols à main armée. Cette méthodologie a ensuite été étendue à toute comparaison de personnes ! Alice m’a donc contacté en pensant (en espérant) que la biométrie l’aiderait à démontrer ce qu’elle savait depuis longtemps, à savoir que son arrière-arrière-grand-mère n’était pas morte en 1918 !!   Sa demande m’a surpris, d’autant plus que la recherche proposée créait curieusement un lien émotionnel inattendu avec mes années 1950, lorsque, jeune homme, en vacances dans le sud de la France (Le Brusc-sur-Mer/Var), j’ai eu le grand honneur d’être reçu en ami par la princesse Marina Petrovna Romanovna (nièce du tsar) et son mari, le prince Alexandre Golitsyne !

Le succès de notre travail commun, en plus de la partie scientifique, repose sur l’importante collection iconographique familiale rassemblée avec patience et amour par Alisa Vladi ! Ces documents, dont l’authenticité ne peut être contestée, présentent une galerie de portraits qui montrent visuellement une morphologie faciale très similaire, ce qui permet de voir que ces personnes sont toutes liées par une génétique commune ! Il est à noter que les tests ADN d’Alice confirment cette relation, correspondant au degré de parenté. 

Pour ce qui est de l’article en lui-même, nous avons dû faire un choix de photographies et pour finir, pour cette revue comparative, nous avons choisi 5 visages d’Anastasia : 7 ans, 9 ans – 20 ans, 60 ans – 70 ans. Nous avons jugé utile d’ajouter des photos de la grande-duchesse Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanovna à l’âge de 50 et 80 ans !

This blog is the result of a totally fortuitous meeting between Alice Vladi (Anastasia’s great-great-granddaughter!) and the author of these lines! It is entirely dedicated to Princess Anastasia of Russia and provides irrefutable scientific proof of her survival!

Alice, for a long time, searched for the possibility of confirming that her great-grandmother, the Grand Duchess, Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanova had not died in 1918. After asking a human rights lawyer to help her find a specialist, who could help her in her quest and this is how she came to know my name as a recognized specialist in biometrics of similarity, Alice, knowing the name of Raoul Perrot, scoured the internet and quickly found the website of the Laboratory of Anatomical Anthropology in Lyon (France) allowing her to learn about some of my work:  those relating to the comparison of faces using a methodology originally developed for the identification of persons who have committed armed robberies. This methodology was then extended to any comparison of people! So Alice contacted me thinking (hoping) that biometrics would help her demonstrate what she had known for a long time, namely that her great-great-grandmother had not died in 1918!!   His request surprised me, especially since the proposed research curiously created an unexpected emotional link with my 1950s, when, as a young man, on holiday in the south of France (Le Brusc-sur-Mer/Var), I had the great honour of being received as a friend by Princess Marina Petrovna Romanovna (niece of the Tsar) and her husband, Prince Alexander Golitsyn!

The success of our joint work, in addition to the scientific part, is based on the important family iconographic collection gathered with patience and love by Alisa Vladi! These documents, whose authenticity cannot be disputed, present a gallery of portraits that visually show a very similar facial morphology, which makes it possible to see that these people are all related by a common genetics! It should be noted that Alice’s DNA tests confirm this relationship, corresponding to the degree of kinship. 

As for the article itself, we had to make a choice of photographs and finally, for this comparative review, we chose 5 faces of Anastasia: 7 years old, 9 years old – 20 years old, 60 years old – 70 years old. We thought it would be useful to add photos of Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanovna at the age of 50 and 80!
